Initiating and leading effective and sustainable change processes is extremely demanding. It not only requires developing appropriate strategic and organizational solutions, but also dealing adequately with the often varying interests and perspectives of all stakeholders. 


From the outset it is vital that individuals understand why change is necessary. They need a comprehensive, inspiring, and powerful vision of the future. The change process must create opportunities for them to adequately address their ideas and interests. Leaders must motivate through their actions, be decisive, trustworthy, and capable of handling conflicts.
